xbox360 and the ps3 are both "technologically superior" to Wii. Why does the wii sells more than both together?Nintendo did a genius thing here. while the competition was busy trying to get the most technologically advanced graphics chip and cpu, they simply pointed their cannon at the user interface and completely changed it. And to top it off they grouped it with wii sports, which was the perfect way to demo their new control scheme. The whole package was the game changer.Even if you're not impressed by the end result, you have to at least admire that Nintendo had the balls to completely rely on the controllers (as the wii is very similar to GC in all the rest of the specs) to go against MS and Sony and their "next generation" consoles.

I'm sure lots of people used this transition as an excuse to finally buy that flat-screen. And props to them for waiting for the price to go down. Lots of people didn't. Several years ago, A LOT of the times when a poor family was shown on TV they'd have a huge flat-screen TV...one could only sigh.
