Who said it wasn't a human rights violation? I just think it's funny when it's not me.
I teach at college and, yeah, the students in the 16-23 range generally download so as not to have to buy. After about 24, though, they start downloading to either try before they buy or because the content is simply not available any other way.This is in Australia, by the way. We're still waiting for 9 to be released in cinemas. Guess what everyone's doing while they wait for it's official release in February?Go on, guess.

Why would any rational person support more socialist programs that make the relatively wealthy pay for the medical expenses of the poor/uninsured? It destroys society.?
eliiotys - there are people with Ph.Ds out there that believe that water molecules can hold a "Memory" - the pseudoscientific basis for homeopathy.There are Governments who believe Dowsing Rods can find bombs, with tragic and fatal results.Stupidity crosses all nationality, language, cultural, and educational levels.Dr. Rashid Buttar, as far as I understand, had his medical license suspended for performing unorthadox and highly dangerous medical procedures that had no basis in evidence based medicine. People are easily scared, and cancer patients and the despirate are easily played on. |

I wish Science Fiction was still this good. 2001, the Twilight Zone, and discounting all of the terrible films of the 50s before that you had amazing authors like Bradbury, Wells, and Verne. Today's Arthur Clark is the guy writing novelizations of things like Dead Space, which are already played out. |
