Thanks for the information - thought Linux was far behind regarding hardware acceleration of HD video. I'll give it a try sometime, I'm just not very strong at Linux. I have had a VPS with CentOS, but everytime I ran into a problem, it would take me way to long fixing it, looking for help on Google and forums. But hey, I guess I have to learn it someway.?
What the hell is wrong with us as a country that this is at all tolerable behavior for our leaders and elected officials. Regardless of the content of the bill/amendment/whatever being proposed, and regardless of the party doing the proposing, this kind of behavior is simply unacceptable. While I realize that this is likely not how most of these types of events go, I am finding it hard to express my anger that this could happen even a few times. |

He didn't vote WITH the GOP, he voted against the bill for different reasons. There is a difference. Why do things always have to be 'with or against'? There can be multiple reasons to be for or against something and we shouldn't pretend things are as simple as black or white.

Although this ABC poll was conducted a few years ago, it demonstrates that the Republican party, and especially GOP conservatives are strong advocates of big brother, government. 4 in 5 Republicans favor our government spying on us. And this is the party that is trying to win back congress in 2010, the pro-domestic espionage party. Aren't this tactics the Islamic Iranian regime use on their people? |
