***** Apple for making me have to Jailbreak in the first place just so I can do simple things like turn off/on bluetooth and wifi without having to go through four ***** menu screens first, customize the background and sound FX the way *I* want and not the way Steve ***** Jobs thinks I should want, and last but not least, run Apps like Pandora in the background so I can do other things while listening to music at the same time. I have a different perspective working for the government. I'd say the most important language you should know is C/C++. Every other language is easier once you mastered pointers/memory management. Having some knowledge about hardware and assembly language is extremely useful.Make sure the company isn't going to over work you. Many companies get undergrads and work them 60+ hours a week because they can. I would talk to someone who is at your level at the company to get an idea what their work/life ratio is.Be familiar with programming in Linux and Windows.Always be prepared to be learning something new. The field moves and you have to move with it or be left behind.
